puppet week!
we were lucky enough to check out a marionette show of sleeping beauty at underwood!
this skeleton puppet was one of my favorites...
afterwards we worked on making our own marionettes...
it didn't take long before we were joined by other kids wanting in on the action!

our rainy camp day...
we began our day working on our balancing butterflies...
mia turned her butterflies into puppets...
we worked on paper mache pinatas at the park art center...
afterwards we headed to prospect park- just in time for a massive rain pour!
we took cover under a pavilion where we ate lunch, made uv bead bracelets, hula hooped in the rain and collected rain in different containers...
after a cold and sopping wet journey back we stopped at julia's to dry off and have a hot chocolate party!
