we gave the kids binoculars for spying and a notepad and pencil for documenting observations. the kids gave themselves secret agent names- fiona was belle, nova was super nova, estella was leona, theo was XX, leroy dragon knight, sonny X flyer and mia was belle (yes, there were two belles)...
we made up codes and then hide the encrypted answers with invisible ink (aka wax candles + water colors)...
leroy worked on our spy clubhouse...
we found a grasshopper! the kids were very protective and gentle with it...
we also went to the natural history museum but the pictures were sadly lost. i highly recommend checking out the discovery room. the kids had soooo much fun!
